Wat ooit begon als een zijproject naast frontman David Pino’s punkrock uitspattingen is verworden tot een zelfverzekerde, eersteklas indiepopband. Na een radiostilte van bijna twee jaar zijn de mannen van El Pino & the Volunteers terug met hun tweede langspeler. Op The Long-lost Art of Becoming Invisible zoekt El Pino het avontuur, verschiet van kleur en vindt zichzelf opnieuw uit.
FRET over het debuutalbum van Horse Company: "Twaalf mooie liedjes met de nodige stevigheid en ingetogenheid. De opener Big & Beautiful zet de kwalitatief hoge toon en die kwaliteit houdt de band de hele plaat vast. Heerlijke roadmusic dus. Tot slot een eervolle vermelding voor de productie van Henk Jonkers (Claw Boys Claw, Fatal Flowers e.a.) want het klinkt allemaal echt waanzinnig goed!"
En nu heeft deze Zwolse band een tweede langspeler op zak, die minstens zulke goede kritieken oogst.
